Assesses and provides routine and urgent first aid, distribution of medications, and treatment of minor ailments/physical conditions to students as authorized by education code, policy, level of certification, and training by a licensed health care professional. Performs recurring clerical duties associated with setup and maintenance of health records, assistance with health screening and documentation of test results, and processing routine transactions.
Responsibilities

- Assist with health screenings and document test results.
- Process routine transactions.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED).
- Experience as a clinic medical assistant, nurse aide, or equivalent.
- First aid and CPR certificates.
- Valid driver’s license may be required.
- Proof of High School graduation (diploma, transcripts, or GED).
- Resume providing clear evidence of required experience.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred.
- Bilingual abilities are desirable, depending on District needs.
Pay
$23.03 - $30.49 per hour in 9 annual steps. Salary placement is based on relevant experience.
Schedule
- 6 hours/day, 5 days/week.
- 182 work days/year.
