About the role
This position is responsible for teaching health sciences courses at Brookings High School.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with state and national standards.
- Provide individualized instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver effective curriculum.
- Evaluate student progress and provide feedback through assessments.
- Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Science or related field.
- Valid teaching license in South Dakota.
- Experience in secondary education preferred.
