The Department of Radiological Sciences at the University of California, Irvine anticipates openings for full-time professorial positions in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor Series for clinicians with expertise in various subspecialties. These positions are open for candidates who possess an MD or DO degree and have completed a fellowship program.

About the role

Candidates must be American Board of Radiology board certified or eligible and eligible for a California medical license. The position includes clinical service, participation in research programs, and teaching of medical students and residents. Academic appointment rank (Assistant, Associate, or full Professor) will be recommended based on training and experience.

Skills

Strong clinical skills, research capabilities, and teaching abilities are essential.

Pay

The posted UC salary scales determine the base pay based on rank and/or step at appointment. The total negotiated salary (TNS) calculation includes AAARAD salary benchmarks for subspecialties in radiology ranging from $417,412 to $590,420.
