Position Overview
Salary range: Total Negotiated Salary (TNS) calculation depending on specialty can range from $289,656 -$362,152. The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and/or step at appointment. This position includes membership in the health science compensation plan, which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.

Position Description
The Division of General Internal Medicine in the Department of Medicine is seeking candidates for faculty positions in the Health Sciences Clinical series at the level of Assistant Professor or above. The candidate will be expected to teach residents and medical students; provide patient care; contribute to scholarly activities; and provide public and University service. The candidate will provide ambulatory care at the UC Irvine Medical Center in Orange or the Joe C. Wen & Family Center for Advanced Care in Irvine.
Qualifications
- Basic qualifications (required at time of application): have an MD, DO or equivalent
be board certified or eligible in Internal Medicine
hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the state of California
