About the role
The University of California, Irvine, Department of Neurological Surgery seeks a qualified candidate for a full-time faculty position in the non-tenure track Health Sciences Clinical Professor Series at the Assistant rank.
Responsibilities
- Have an unrestricted medical license from the Medical Board of California
- Graduated from an ACGME accredited residency training program in Neurological Surgery at the time of start
- Experience and training in complex cranial neurosurgery and neuro-oncology
- Additional Ph.D. degree in biology related fields and specific focus of interest in immunotherapy and brain tumors preferred
- Track record of creativity and productivity
- Demonstrated potential for outstanding future achievement
- Desired participation in an exciting, collaborative, and rapidly growing brain tumor immunology program at UCI
Requirements
- M.D. or D.O. degree
- Board certified/board-eligible in Neurological Surgery (ABNS)

Pay
The salary range for this position is from $250,000.00 - $325,000.00. The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and/or step at appointment.
