About the role
We are hiring for either a Health, Safety, & Quality Rep Senior or a Health, Safety, & Quality Rep Staff based on candidates' qualifications.
Responsibilities
- Provides a broad range of safety, health, training, and compliance services to field operations and company leadership.
- Advances the prevention of occupational injuries through field observations and inspections, hazard identification, risk mitigation, training development and implementation, incident and close call investigation, safety data analysis, safety and operational assessments, application of industry best practices and advancements, etc.
- Makes sure compliance with Federal, State, Local and Company regulations and procedures.
- May provide guidance to other team members on specific project or activities.
- Maintains awareness of regulations for potential changes that could impact areas of responsibility.
- Analyzes Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and provides reports on performance and recommendations for corrective actions that drive necessary business improvements.
- Works in partnership with all members of the business unit to drive the timely completion of corrective actions.
- Advises leadership on health, safety, and environmental risk, necessary corrective actions, and recommended strategy.
- Investigates Health and Safety, Environmental, and Operational incidents, including but not limited to; appropriate reported, investigation, documentation, and corrective actions.
- Identifies and mitigates hazards.
- Inspects company facilities and work sites and, when needed, recommends corrective actions to ensure compliance to established Health, Safety and Environmental regulations.
- Leads audit activities on a wide range of business unit processes and procedures.
- Performs spill response evaluation & notification to environmental operations.
- Develops and implements Health and Safety standards, procedures, and training programs that reduce risk exposure.
Requirements
Senior Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Safety or related field and 5 years occupational health and safety experience.
- High School Diploma/GED and 10 years of occupational health and safety experience.
- Bachelor's Degree and 7 years of directly related operational experience.
- High School Diploma/GED and 11 years of directly related operational experience.
Staff Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Safety or related field and 2 years occupational health and safety experience.
- High School Diploma/GED and 7 years of occupational health and safety experience.
- Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of directly related operational experience.
- High School Diploma/GED and 8 years of directly related operational experience.
Preferred Qualification: Experience working in a Power Generation Facility. Health and Safety experience working in Industrial Manufacturing.
Working Conditions
- May require travel.
- May be required to work non-standard work schedules.
- May be required to work at heights up to and exceeding thirty (30) feet, underground and in confined spaces.
- May be exposed to stressful and hazardous conditions and inclement weather.
- May be exposed to extreme conditions and inclement weather.
- Use of personal vehicle may be required for travel.
- May be required to lift fifty (50) pounds or more.
Special Safety Requirements
- Member is required to drive in order to perform their job duties. Member is assigned a company vehicle and/or member must drive a company and/or personal vehicle to complete company business.

Salary Range
- Staff Level: $72,280 - $98,000
- Senior Level: $79,000 - $110,000
