Environmental Health & Safety Representative

About the role

The Environmental Health and Safety Representative position is located in Shady Grove, Pennsylvania. This role reports to the EHS Manager.

Responsibilities

• Implementation of new programs, refinement of existing programs, and ensuring program utilization.
• Conducting audits, managing record retention, and developing environmental and safety policies and procedures.
• Organizing and facilitating training sessions on various topics such as Title V, Personal Protective Equipment, Fall Protection, Confined Space Entry, Lockout/Tagout, etc.
• Leading Value Stream Safety Teams, conducting ergonomic assessments, inspections, and serving as a consultant for these teams.
• Assisting the EHS Manager with regulatory reports, incident investigations, proactive safety measures, and site safety plan development.
• Supporting the resolution of safety concerns within Value Stream safety teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Safety with a minimum of 1-year experience in EHS or a High School diploma with a minimum of 5 years' experience in general industry safety practice, including experience stated in job functions.
• Experience from a construction or manufacturing background preferred.
• Knowledge in OSHA and Regulatory Compliance, including air, water, waste, preferred.
• The ability to positively influence the company safety culture.
