Health, Safety & Environmental Specialist - Milwaukee, WI

About the role

The Health, Safety & Environmental Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental standards are met across the organization. This position will be based in Milwaukee, WI.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulations
• Train employees on health, safety, and environmental best practices
• Respond to and investigate incidents related to health, safety, and the environment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Safety, Health, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in HSE management
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant regulations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Experience in hazardous waste management
• Previous experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or industrial setting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

• $80,000 - $90,000 annually
