Health, Safety & Environment Business Partner

About The Role

We’re currently looking for a Health & Safety Business Partner to join our Kinrise Snackfoods team. Based primarily at our Dandenong South with travel to Braeside, and Keysborough as required, this role champions a strong safety, health and environmental culture across our manufacturing sites.

You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring our sites maintain a strong commitment to continuous improvement of safety, health and environmental culture, standards, systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities, Include But Are Not Limited To

• Lead Safety Excellence
• Drive a proactive safety culture by engaging leaders, team members and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with Kinrise HSE standards and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee risk and hazard management, including assessments, investigations, corrective actions and audits.
• Champion Health & Injury Management
• Oversee occupational health, wellness and hygiene programs.
• Manage end-to-end workers’ compensation claims and early intervention processes.
• Act as the key liaison between injured workers, treatment providers, insurers and internal stakeholders.
• Environmental Stewardship
• Manage site environmental compliance, including EPA licences and trade waste requirements.
• Drive Continuous Improvement
• Lead local HSE improvement programs, including Never Walk By initiatives.
• Enhance return-to-work outcomes and support OES maturity across HSE modules.
• Be a Key Functional Area Specialist in Safety
• Contribute to decision-making on key operational issues.
• Maintain accurate HSE records and reporting.
• Ensure confidentiality and protect sensitive business information.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Analytical problem-solving ability and confidence managing risk and complexity.
• Results-driven mindset with the ability to set and achieve ambitious targets.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• A collaborative approach and alignment with Kinrise values.
• Experience
• Minimum 5 years’ experience implementing safety programs in FMCG manufacturing.
• Significant experience in workplace rehabilitation and return-to-work injury management.
