Health Records and Clinical Coding Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Health Records and Clinical Coding Manager to join our management team at Gilbert Bain Hospital. Reporting to the Planned Care Operational Manager, this role involves providing a comprehensive health records service and supporting the development and implementation of new technology aligned with the eHealth strategy.

Responsibilities

• Provide a comprehensive health records service
• Support the Health Records and Reception Team Leaders in developing their services
• Provide staff training
• Assist with the development and implementation of new technology in line with the eHealth strategy
• Proactively lead and support the Elective Services Team

Requirements

• A relevant first degree
• Experience at a senior level in informatics and business administration

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a relevant first degree and will be able to demonstrate experience at a senior level in informatics and business administration.

Pay

Salary Range: £52,845 - £61,466 per annum
