About the role
Design and manage wellness programs that promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being for guests. These programs could include fitness classes, yoga, meditation, nutrition coaching, and outdoor activities.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the implementation and promotion of wellness programs for guests at hotels, resorts, and spas.
- Curate and train staff to deliver fitness, recreation, and wellness programs that align with guest needs and preferences.
- Develop and implement personalized guest activity plans based on individual health goals and interests.
- Collaborate with architects and hospitality developers to design spaces that support health and wellness initiatives.
- Create and manage fitness-related gaming experiences using technology and interactive wellness activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology or related field.
- Master's degree in Recreation Management or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in managing wellness programs in hospitality settings.
- Strong understanding of exercise science and its application in a hospitality context.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
