Health Insurance Sales Representative, Licensed - Geisinger Health Plan (Pennsylvania resident in Geisinger service area*)

About the role

The role involves cultivating new sales of Medicare Advantage HMO and PPO plans, and Medicare supplemental plans. It also includes influencing community-based organizations to build collaborative relationships, supporting strategic partner relationships, and marketing Geisinger Gold within the community.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements short-term and long-term regional sales strategies.
• Delivers sales presentations to Medicare eligible audiences in both group and home settings.
• Presents the managed care concept to employer groups and unions.
• Influences community-based organizations, businesses, and local government agencies to build collaborative relationships.
• Supports strategic partner relationships.
• Engages key contacts and supports community, businesses, and legislative based events.
• Marketing Geisinger Gold within the community (provider offices, senior centers, high rises, etc.)

Requirements

• Licensed to sell Health Insurance.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in Health Insurance/Managed Care.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in Sales.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED).
• Bachelor's Degree (Preferred).

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong presentation and networking skills.
