About the role

The role involves releasing information to external health services, collecting documents from clinical areas, preparing, scanning, quality checking, validating, and archiving medical record documents.

Responsibilities

  • Release of Information to external health services
  • Document collection from clinical areas
  • Preparation, scanning, quality checks, validation, and archiving of medical record documents
  • Other HIS administrative duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Higher School Certificate/Victorian Certificate of Education
  • Highly developed organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Administrative and customer service experience in a hospital environment desirable
