Responsibilities
- Maintain policies and procedures for record keeping practices of the center.
Requirements
- Health Information Technician Preferred, not required
- Preferred Certification as a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), CCA, or CCS
- Active member of the American health Information Management Association (AHIMA)
- ICD-10 CM Coding experience Preferred but not required
- Prior Skilled Nursing Facility experience under PDPM Preferred but not required
- MDS completion experience Preferred but not required
Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent
Skills
- Coding experience preferred
- Medical Records experience preferred
