About the Opportunity

The Health Information Management Clerk is responsible for maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and secure handling of patient health information. This role supports the organization by processing health information requests, reviewing records for completeness, coordinating information flow, and ensuring sensitive patient data is handled in accordance with organizational policies and privacy requirements.

Responsibilities

  • File, organize, and maintain patient health information accurately according to established policies and procedures.
  • Process and respond to health information requests in accordance with organizational policies and applicable privacy requirements.
  • Review medical records for completeness and identify or address missing or deficient information.
  • Coordinate the timely receipt, processing, and distribution of patient information.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security when handling sensitive patient health information.
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to facilitate accurate and efficient health information management.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records related to health information activities.
  • Follow established procedures and escalate issues or discrepancies when appropriate.

Pay

Hourly rate: $16.75–$25.13.
