About the role

Under the direction of ministry HIM management, the Document Imaging Technician is responsible for receiving and processing all medical record pick-ups, prepping, scanning, indexing, and filing. This individual prepares documents appropriately and indexes documentation in the appropriate patient record, visit, and record location. Additionally, the Document Imaging Technician verifies every image to ensure readability, quality, and completeness.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3 years of HIM/Medical Records related experience.
  • 1 year of HIM/Medical Record department or similar office work experience.
  • 1 year of experience with imaging equipment.
  • 1 year of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.17 per hour. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

Schedule

This is a full-time, day-shift position.
