About the role
The Reno-Sparks Indian Colony is seeking a Full-Time Health Center Procurement Specialist to join their dedicated team. This position offers the chance to contribute to the well-being of the community by ensuring the health center is equipped with the necessary resources to deliver exceptional care.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance and execute procurement duties for both standardized and specialized services, materials, supplies, and equipment.
- Prepare essential procurement documents for various purchases and projects, ensuring alignment with organizational standards.
Requirements
- A solid foundation in business practices, ideally supported by a Bachelor's Degree in business administration, public administration, accounting, supply chain management, or a related field, coupled with two years of progressively responsible procurement experience.
- Familiarity with preparing formal and informal bids, particularly within public sector processes, and Tribal Government procurement experience is highly desirable.
- Comprehensive knowledge of 2 C.F.R. Uniform Administrative Requirements and 48 C.F.R. Federal Acquisition Regulations.
- Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office, for efficient document management.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
- Current CPSM certification or the ability and eligibility to obtain within six months of date of appointment; possession of at least a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification is highly desirable.
- A valid Nevada State driver's license is required for this role.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in business administration, public administration, accounting, supply chain management, or a related field AND two years of full-time progressively responsible procurement experience OR an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Skills
- Knowledge of 2 C.F.R. Uniform Administrative Requirements Cost Principles and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards and 48 C.F.R. Federal Acquisition Regulations System.

Pay
The expected pay range for this position is $27.60 - $33.95 per hour, depending on experience.
