About the role
The Health Center Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of Planned Parenthood's health center in Mount Vernon, New York. This position is responsible for ensuring that all services provided adhere to the highest standards of care and comply with all relevant regulations.Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the health center, including patient care, administrative tasks, and staff management.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies related to healthcare delivery.
- Manage the budget and financial operations of the health center, including grant writing and fundraising efforts.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction and service quality.
- Collaborate with community partners to enhance access to reproductive health services.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to staff members, fostering a positive work environment.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare management or a related field.
- A bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, public health, or a related field.
- Experience managing a healthcare facility or clinic.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
