About the role
The Adult Admissions Unit is an inpatient unit serving individuals from the ages of 18 years of age and older. The objective of the admissions unit is to provide a safe and structured environment for crisis stabilization. This position typically works M-F 8am – 5pm however, may be assigned to other shifts as needed to meet the needs of the unit.
Responsibilities
- Administrative/clerical tasks
- Aid the Clinical Nurse Manager
- Communication across disciplines and hospital departments via phone, email, and writing
- Assist the CNM to follow up with staff for compliance with required Cherry Hospital training

Salary Range: $31,200 - $46,348
Recruitment Range: $35,360 - $38,688
A Limited sign-on bonus of $15,000 may be offered to the successful applicant(s) of this posting who applies between June 1st – August 31st, 2026, contingent on the 2025-2026 Budget Approval.
Qualifications
Registered as a Nurse Aide by the NC Division of Health Service Regulation.
Ability to transfer written information accurately to various forms.
Knowledge of general office skills such as filing and telephone etiquette.
General knowledge of computer skills/proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Skills
Preferred: Registered as a Nurse Aide by the NC Division of Health Service Regulation.

Shift Premiums For 8- Hour Shifts
Day: Saturday and Sunday 5%
Evening: Monday-Friday 10%, Saturday and Sunday 15%
Night: Friday-Sunday 15%, Monday-Thursday 10%
