Health Care Aide-Barrhead

About the role
Health Care Aides provide support, advocacy, and choice to residents and their families to ensure the highest quality of resident-focused care. As members of the clinical care team, the Health Care Aide assists residents with the activities of daily living, including providing residents with assistance in bathing, grooming, dressing, personal hygiene, meal service, and mobility/transfers in a safe and caring manner.
Schedule
- Permanent part-time (evening shift)
- 0.5 FTE (38.75 bi-weekly hours)
Pay
Hourly rate of pay: $21.08–$26.42
Requirements
- Registered with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses and Health Care Aides of Alberta (CLHA)
- Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Must provide a Vulnerable Sector Check satisfactory to the employer
- Legally permitted to work in Canada
