About the Role
We are seeking a licensed Registered Nurse to lead the Health and Wellness department at our large senior living community in Marana, Arizona. This role oversees the daily operations of our assisted living and memory care services, ensuring excellent care and strong relationships with residents.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the assisted living and memory care departments.
- Hire, train, and develop the care team, providing leadership to the management team, including the Memory Care Director, Care Coordinator, and Certified Caregivers.
- Work directly with residents to evaluate needs, assess services, and document resident status using an electronic care system.
- Supervise med techs and delegate nursing duties to unlicensed personnel.
- Develop and maintain service plans, medication management systems, infection control practices, and safety procedures.
- Demonstrate budgeting and cost control skills.
- Promote teamwork, leadership, empowerment, and responsiveness to residents.
- Perform other leadership duties as needed.
Requirements
- Current RN license.
- Experience in Assisted Living, Geriatric Nursing, Gerontology, and/or Dementia Care.
- Strong leadership skills in developing care teams and achieving positive outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability in budgeting and cost control.
- Knowledge of service plan development, medication management, infection control, and safety procedures.
