Responsibilities

  • Manages day-to-day healthcare operations of the community to ensure residents' healthcare needs are met.
  • Ensures residents are treated with respect and dignity, providing quality care as their healthcare needs change.
  • Ensures consistent quality resident care and service delivery across all shifts, including assuming the role of Caregiver or Med Tech/Aide to meet residents' needs and staffing requirements.
  • Supervises community-based licensed nursing staff, medication technicians/CMAs, and Caregivers; provides ongoing training and education, including classroom in-services and situation-specific training.
  • Manages associates' schedules.
  • Oversees and manages medication training, pharmacy management, and medication supervision/administration in the community.
  • Conducts periodic Care Associate medication skills inventory checks and medication audits per Brookdale Guidelines.
  • Shares on-call duties as required.

Requirements

  • Education as required to obtain state nursing license (LPN/LVN or RN).
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience.
  • LPN or LVN license.

Pay

Base pay will be determined by the applicant’s skills and experience.
