Health Aide - IDEA South Flores (Immediate Opening)
Role Mission
The Health Aide provides health services to students, conducts state-mandated screenings, maintains immunization compliance, and promotes health education.

Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- One-year experience in a health-related position, with preference for experience with school-age children
- Certified as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
- Current certification in CPR/AED/First Aid
- Certified by the Texas Department of State Health Services for vision, hearing, spinal, and AN screenings (preferred)
What You’ll Do
Accountabilities include providing direct care, managing medication administration, coordinating screening programs, serving as a health liaison, collaborating with professionals, communicating with stakeholders, and maintaining records.
Professional Development
Maintain certifications and model professional, ethical, and responsible behavior.
