Headwear Trimmer

About the role

The Headwear Trimmer is responsible for trimming excess thread and Pellon from the logo and ensuring excellent quality while meeting company production standards.

Schedule

7:00 am – 3:30 pm Monday – Friday with overtime (Saturday 7 am – noon) as required.

Responsibilities

• Trim and remove excess threads and Pellon.
• Attach hang tags and UPC stickers.
• Ensure excellent quality.
• Bagging and packing the final product.
• Tie on threads.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Must possess initiative, energy, and drive.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain good working relationships with co-workers and management.

Education and experience

• High school diploma or GED.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.

Physical demands

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to use hands, fingers, and arms.
• Ability to demonstrate fine dexterity skills.
• Ability to climb, bend, reach, kneel, and crouch.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Work environment

• Exposure to moderate noise level.
• Close and distance vision required.
• Color vision required.
