Headwear Trimmer - 2nd Shift

About the role

The Headwear Trimmer trims excess thread and Pellon from logos, ensures excellent quality, meets production standards, and performs related tasks such as attaching hang tags, bagging, packing, and tying threads. The position is located at 270 Samuel Barnet Blvd, New Bedford, MA 02745.

Schedule

3:30 pm – 12:00 am, Monday–Friday, with overtime during the week as required.

Responsibilities

• Trim and remove excess threads and Pellon.
• Attach hang tags and UPC stickers.
• Ensure excellent quality.
• Bagging and packing the final product.
• Tie on threads.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Ability to read instructions in English.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to multi‑task under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Possess initiative, energy, and drive.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Maintain good working relationships with co‑workers and management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.

Physical Demands

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to use hands, fingers, and arms.
• Fine dexterity skills.
• Ability to climb, bend, reach, kneel, and crouch.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment

• Exposure to moderate noise level.
