Headquarters Support Deputy Team Lead

What You’ll Work On:

• Oversee a 20-person team of Exercise Support Division and the HST staff.
• Aid in planning and execution of up to five constructive command post Warfighter Exercises (WFXs) each year.
• Provide direction on activities and behaviors to increase morale, in accordance with organization goals.
• Motivate team members and facilitate team meetings.
• Cultivate and reinforce appropriate group values, norms, and behaviors.
• Identify and analyze problems, plans, tasks, and solutions.
• Provide guidance to team on development, performance, and productivity issues.
• Represent the team, presenting team suggestions and recommendations on processes and procedures in accordance with organization cost, quality, and productivity goals.
• Report to organization management on team accomplishments, achievements, and productivity.

You Have:

• Experience with Microsoft Office products
• Knowledge of current Army and Joint doctrine
• Ability to travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations up to 20% of the time
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in the military, or 10+ years of experience in lieu of a degree
• Nice if you have: Experience with Constructive Simulation Models such as Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability (JLCCTC) or Warfighters Simulation (WARSIM); Experience working with the Mission Command Training Program (MCTP); Ability to utilize a customer-focused approach; Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks; Excellent problem-solving skills; Excellent organizational and time management skills; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Master's degree

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
