About the role

The Boys Wrestling program at Rampart is seeking a dedicated and experienced Head Wrestling Coach to lead our team to success on and off the mat. The ideal candidate will be passionate about developing young athletes and fostering a positive team culture.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive wrestling training program that meets state and national standards
• Coach team practices and matches, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and competitive rules
• Work closely with student-athletes to improve their skills and performance
• Manage team logistics, including scheduling, travel arrangements, and equipment maintenance
• Collaborate with other coaches, administrators, and support staff to enhance the overall athletic program

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Coaching, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of coaching experience at the high school level
• Experience with USA Wrestling certification preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
