Head Women's Lacrosse Coach

About the Role

Recruits, trains, and provides guidance to members of the Women’s Lacrosse team to promote the academic, athletic, and social success of athletes. This role aligns with the mission and goals of the University of Bridgeport Athletic Department.

Responsibilities

• Represent the University of Bridgeport and the Athletic Department with integrity and professionalism.
• Promote and support the university’s mission and the Athletic Department’s program goals.
• Assist with all aspects of the women’s lacrosse program, including recruiting and providing opportunities for student-athletes to reach their full potential.
• Adhere to and enforce all policies and procedures of the department, university, NCAA, CACC, and other governing authorities.
• Provide leadership in the implementation of the program.
• Perform duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics.
• Conduct all work safely and follow safety practices.
• Engage in professional development and stay current with trends in the sport.
• Assist other department staff to promote a collaborative team environment.

Requirements

• Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, fostering an environment of respect and dignity.
• Experience in the sport of women’s lacrosse.
