About the role

The Head Tennis Coach will lead the men’s and women’s tennis programs at the university, overseeing all aspects of team management, player development, and competition strategy.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for players of all skill levels.
• Manage team logistics including scheduling, travel arrangements, and equipment maintenance.
• Collaborate with academic advisors to ensure student-athletes maintain eligibility and academic progress.
• Prepare and present competitive strategies to the team during matches and tournaments.
• Oversee team fundraising efforts and manage sponsorships.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in physical education, sports science, or a related field.
• Proven success as a head coach at the collegiate level.
• Experience managing budgets and resources.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
• Experience with video analysis and performance assessment tools.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Schedule

The Head Tennis Coach will work a standard 40-hour work week, with additional hours required for travel and tournament preparation.
