About the role
The Head Tennis Coach will lead the men’s and women’s tennis programs at the university, overseeing all aspects of team management, player development, and competition strategy.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for players of all skill levels.
- Manage team logistics including scheduling, travel arrangements, and equipment maintenance.
- Collaborate with academic advisors to ensure student-athletes maintain eligibility and academic progress.
- Prepare and present competitive strategies to the team during matches and tournaments.
- Oversee team fundraising efforts and manage sponsorships.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in physical education, sports science, or a related field.
- Proven success as a head coach at the collegiate level.
- Experience managing budgets and resources.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
Schedule
The Head Tennis Coach will work a standard 40-hour work week, with additional hours required for travel and tournament preparation.
