About the role

Acelero Learning Delaware is seeking dedicated educators to join our team and support early childhood education programs. Our goal is to transform education and create positive outcomes for children and families.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a joyful, inclusive classroom promoting school readiness, literacy, language, and social-emotional development.
  • Implement a child-centered curriculum reflecting the needs, interests, and cultural backgrounds of the children you serve.
  • Foster family partnerships through home visits, parent-teacher conferences, and involvement in their child's learning journey.
  • Support diverse learners, including those with disabilities, by integrating Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) into daily instruction.
  • Document and assess progress using observations, anecdotal notes, and digital tools like CreativeCurriculum.net to individualize instruction.
  • Ensure child safety and well-being by conducting daily health checks and modeling positive behaviors during meals and play.

Requirements

  • Deeply committed to early childhood education and equity.
  • Collaborative and flexible, able to work closely with assistant teachers, families, and site leadership.
  • Reflective and growth-minded, using data to adapt instruction and improve outcomes for all children.
  • Bilingual (Spanish-English) is a plus!

Qualifications

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent coursework.
  • Pass a physical exam and background check.
  • Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation required.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and actively engage with children throughout the day.
