About the role
Join our dynamic team of educators committed to making a positive impact in the lives of young children. We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Head Start Teacher to lead our classroom and inspire our students.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with Head Start standards.
- Provide a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support student growth and development.
- Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
- Valid state teaching license or ability to obtain one within six months.
- At least two years of successful teaching experience.
- Experience working with diverse populations and special needs students.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Qualifications
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to social justice.
Skills
- Proficient in using technology for educational purposes.
- Knowledgeable about current best practices in early childhood education.
- Ability to manage a classroom effectively.

Pay
Salary range: $45,000 - $55,000 annually.
