About the role
We are seeking a Lead Teacher to join our mission of creating a warm and supportive environment where children and families can thrive. The position offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus payable in four installments ($1000 after completion of months 3, 6, 9 & $2000 after 1 year – external applicants only).
Responsibilities
- Partnering with families to develop child-focused goals that meet individual needs.
- Planning, implementing, and documenting a comprehensive child development program suitable for preschoolers.
- Building positive and supportive relationships with children and families.
- Cooking and serving breakfast and lunch in the classroom as part of our family-style meals.
- Coordinating the daily operations of the classroom while supervising the activities of 1 or more staff members.
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood (Bachelor’s Degree preferred).
- Experience working with children in a center-based setting; prior experience working with families and supervising others preferred.
- Willingness to work flexible hours to meet families' needs.
- Immunized against MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) and TDaP (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis).
Qualifications
- Must be able to pass a background check, to include DHHS and fingerprinting.
Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of early childhood development and best practices.

Pay
- $45,000 - $55,000 annually based on experience.
Schedule
