Head Start Early Childhood Specialist (Bilingual English/Spanish) Region III (REMOTE)

Responsibilities

• Provide training and technical assistance (TTA) related to school readiness and family engagement
• Deliver TTA for the selection and implementation of developmentally appropriate assessments and curricula
• Assist programs in enhancing teacher-child interactions based on CLASS metrics
• Help programs aggregate and analyze data from various sources for informed decision-making
• Support the implementation of research-based coaching models across programs
• Guide the development of family engagement practices aligned with the PFCE Framework
• Facilitate transitions for children from birth-to-five with local educational partners

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Early Childhood Education/Development or related field
• Fluently bilingual in Spanish and English
• 5+ years of experience in early childhood programs for ages birth to five
• 1+ year experience with infants and toddlers
• 1+ year experience in family engagement activities
• 1+ year experience presenting and facilitating group discussions
• 1+ year experience in data analysis for decision-making

$67,355 – $114,503 annually
