HEAD START ASSISTANT COOK (PT-25 HOURS PER WEEK)

Location: Grand Portage Head Start

Wage: $16.38/hour (part-time, 25 hours per week)

Supervisor: Head Start Kitchen Manager

Description

Responsible for assisting in the preparation of breakfast, lunch, and snacks for both Early Head Start and Preschool programs. Helps maintain kitchen and storage areas. Aids in the inventory and purchase of food and other kitchen-related items. Conducts general cleaning in the kitchen and storage areas.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree
• Cooking experience and/or training
• Light computer skills beneficial

Grand Portage requires a background check and pre-employment drug and alcohol testing for all positions. American Indian Preference will apply.
