About the role
The Factory NYC is seeking a Head of Strategic Accounts to lead and grow key client relationships. This role involves building long-term partnerships, developing account strategies, and collaborating with various teams to deliver exceptional work.
Responsibilities
- Lead and grow strategic client relationships.
- Develop account strategies that strengthen partnerships and expand business.
- Identify new opportunities within existing accounts.
- Guide commercial conversations, pricing strategy, and major client meetings.
- Partner with internal teams to ensure smooth project development and handoffs.
- Act as a trusted advisor focused on long-term client success.
Requirements
- 7+ years of strategic account management, business development, or client leadership experience.
- A proven ability to grow existing accounts and build lasting client relationships.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Comfort working across creative, technical, and operational teams.
- Strong organizational skills and CRM experience.
- Someone who values accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Proven track record of success in strategic account management.
- Experience in a similar role at a design/build firm or architecture firm.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
- Strong understanding of the design/build process and fabrication industry.
- Experience with project management tools and software.
