About the role

The Factory NYC is seeking a Head of Strategic Accounts to lead and grow key client relationships. This role involves building long-term partnerships, developing account strategies, and collaborating with various teams to deliver exceptional work.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and grow strategic client relationships.
  • Develop account strategies that strengthen partnerships and expand business.
  • Identify new opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Guide commercial conversations, pricing strategy, and major client meetings.
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure smooth project development and handoffs.
  • Act as a trusted advisor focused on long-term client success.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of strategic account management, business development, or client leadership experience.
  • A proven ability to grow existing accounts and build lasting client relationships.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Comfort working across creative, technical, and operational teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and CRM experience.
  • Someone who values accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of success in strategic account management.
  • Experience in a similar role at a design/build firm or architecture firm.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong understanding of the design/build process and fabrication industry.
  • Experience with project management tools and software.
