Head of School

For our client, we are seeking a Head of School to join the team of a leader in the Education, Government & Non-Profit space. This remote leadership role is responsible for guiding the overall academic, operational, and administrative success of a K-12 school environment. The Head of School will set direction for the school community, support daily execution through the leadership team, and ensure strong alignment between instructional quality, student outcomes, and regulatory expectations. This position also plays a key role in building community relationships and developing career-connected opportunities for students. As the instructional leader, this individual will use data-informed decision-making to strengthen school performance and accountability. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $105,000 – $115,000 annually Responsibilities Lead the operational and administrative functions of the schools Manage the school leadership team for daily operations Develop and implement academic and regulatory policies Collaborate with industry partners for student career opportunities Oversee compliance with local, state, and federal education laws Foster a positive school culture and engage with community stakeholders Serve as the instructional leader and utilize data for academic decisions Qualifications Master's Degree in Education or related field; Ohio Administrative and Teacher licenses required 10 years of experience in Education, with 5 years in a K-12 administrative role 3+ years of experience in an online school in an instructional capacity Understanding of Career and Technical Education (CTE) and its implementation Experience with Ohio CTE and developing external partnerships Familiarity with State Standards and school accountability measures Benefits Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance options 401(k) retirement plan with company match Life and disability insurance Generous paid time off covering sick, vacation, and personal needs 10 paid holidays annually Flexible health insurance plans catering to diverse needs Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
