About the role
Grymes Memorial School seeks an experienced Head of School / President to lead its educational mission.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the academic program and ensure high-quality education for students.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance school operations and community engagement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with parents, faculty, staff, and the broader community.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in education, administration, or related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in educational leadership, including at least 5 years in a similar role.
- Proven ability to inspire and motivate staff and students.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build consensus.
- Experience with budget management and financial oversight.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of current educational trends and best practices.
