Head of Sales
About the Role
Passionfroot is hiring a Head of Sales to build and lead our GTM function. This role is about scaling a proven motion: we've grown 13x YoY, profitable, almost entirely on inbound, with no dedicated sales team, closing deals with companies like Replit, Figma, Framer, LumaAI, Gamma, and Airtable in cycles as fast as 30 days. Your job is to take that proven demand and turn it into a repeatable GTM function—team, pipeline, and playbook—without losing the speed that got us here.
This is a builder-leader role: you'll close deals yourself early on, implement scalable systems and playbooks, and grow and manage the team as we expand. You'll report directly to our CEO, set the sales strategy, own the revenue number, and lead the sales team.
What’s Different About Building Sales Here
- You're inheriting demand, not hunting for it. Inbound is already proven and flowing—your job is to build the org and process to convert it faster and expand beyond it.
- No category playbook to copy. Creator-led growth is a new category. You're writing the sales motion others will follow.
- Fast cycles, fast feedback. 30-day deal cycles mean you'll see what's working (and what isn't) almost immediately.
- AI-native from day one. Build a lean, high-output sales org using tools like Claude Code and agentic workflows to maximize efficiency.
- Direct access to the founders. No layers—real decisions, made fast.
Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy & Leadership: Define and own Passionfroot's sales strategy—target segments, pricing, packaging, and GTM motion. Set the revenue target, own the forecast, and report on performance.
- Team Building & Management: Build, hire, and manage the sales team as we scale. Set quotas, coach reps, and foster a culture of high performance and accountability.
- Pipeline & Process: Build systems and processes to make sales repeatable—CRM hygiene, sales playbooks, qualification criteria, and a reliable pipeline of outbound and inbound opportunities.
- Closing & Customer Relationships: Personally run and close deals with key customers (e.g., Replit, Figma, Framer, LumaAI, Gamma, Airtable) and set the standard for the team.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, customer success, and product to align on ideal customer profile, feed customer feedback into the roadmap, and ensure smooth handoffs from sale to onboarding.
How You’ll Do It
- Own the sales pipeline and revenue number, reporting regularly on performance.
- Build and run a repeatable sales process, from outbound to close, without slowing down our 30-day cycle times.
- Hire, onboard, and manage a growing sales team.
- Personally close key strategic accounts.
- Develop sales playbooks, training, and enablement materials—AI-native by default.
- Set up and maintain CRM and reporting infrastructure.
- Partner with marketing and customer success on GTM strategy and customer handoffs.
- Represent the voice of the customer internally, feeding insights back into product.
Requirements
- Proven experience leading a sales team and owning a revenue number.
- Track record of both building sales processes from scratch and personally closing deals.
- Comfortable inheriting strong inbound demand and turning it into a repeatable, scalable motion.
- AI-native—comfortable using tools like Claude Code or similar to build leaner, faster sales operations.
- Strong people manager—you know how to hire, coach, and get the best out of a team.
- Obsessed with metrics—you track everything, spot patterns fast, and turn data into decisions.
- Moves fast and communicates proactively—your teammates always know where things stand.
- Excited to own a function end-to-end, not just execute tasks.
- Experience selling to marketing or growth teams, or in the creator economy space.
