About the role
For our client, we are seeking a Head of People Technology to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space. This leader will own the strategy and evolution of the People Technology function, shaping the systems and capabilities that support employees across the organization. The role blends technology leadership, operational rigor, and innovation, with a strong emphasis on AI-powered solutions and automation. This person will partner closely with HR, technical teams, and business stakeholders to improve data integrity, governance, and the overall employee experience. Location: Menlo Park, CA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute a multi-year People Technology strategy
- Evaluate and modernize the People Technology ecosystem with emerging technologies
- Design and build AI-powered products to enhance employee experiences
- Rapidly prototype and iterate solutions using AI and automation
- Establish standards for data quality and governance in People Technology
- Lead technology operations and manage vendor relationships
- Develop a high-performing People Technology team and foster a culture of innovation
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in People Technology or Engineering with large-scale systems
- Proven track record in building and leading high-performing technical teams
- Experience developing multi-year technology strategies aligned with business growth
- Deep knowledge of enterprise People technology ecosystems
- Expertise in HR systems integrations and data integrity practices
- Strong understanding of compliance and audit requirements in HR systems
- Ability to influence stakeholders across technical and non-technical domains

$224,000 – $308,000 annually
