Head of People & Culture (HR), NA

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Head of People & Culture (HR), NA to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This leader will shape and execute the North America people strategy, partnering closely with global HR leaders and senior executives to ensure alignment with broader organizational priorities. The role will drive HR transformation, operating model redesign, and workforce planning while strengthening organizational design and enabling effective program deployment across the region.

Responsibilities

• Shape and execute the regional people strategy in alignment with global priorities
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and represent North America on global HR leadership forums
• Lead and execute HR transformation initiatives, including operating model redesign
• Partner with global HR centers of excellence to deploy programs effectively
• Provide strategic HR partnership supporting workforce planning and organizational design
• Champion the culture of belonging, inclusion, and psychological safety
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with executive leadership and key stakeholders

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior HR leadership role
• Proven track record in HR transformation, including M&A integration
• Experience in matrixed, global organizations, preferably in manufacturing or technology
• Deep expertise across the full HR value chain, including talent, total rewards, employee relations, and HR operations
• Experience driving Shared Services transformation and streamlining HR processes

Location: Dublin, CA (Hybrid) • Compensation: $240,000 – $290,000 annually • US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
