Head of Marketing, Communications and Public Affairs for North America
About the role
The Head of MCP North America leads a team of Marketing Communications managers, supporting Energy Systems' growth goals in the region. Key responsibilities include:
- Develops and sets the MCP strategy, annual initiatives & tactics plan for the Region
- Promotes cross-selling by including the needs of Global Business Units, ventures, and segments
- Advises the Regional Director on marketing, internal, external communications, and public affairs
- Learns and deploys regional marketing and communications strategy
- Monitors and reports on Regional MCP KPIs
- Defines and monitors MCP budget and MCP resources for the region
- Embeds global positioning, campaigns, trends, tools, systems in the region
- Ensures Regional MCP plans are executed within required deadlines, budget and global quality standards with the required results
- Proactively spots opportunities and creates solutions and creative campaigns suited for the region
- Acts as the regional touchpoint to adapt global campaigns to regional needs, customers, and interests
Requirements
- Relevant education, Bachelor's level or higher
- Extensive experience (minimum 10 years) and expertise in marketing and communications
- Preferably experience in managing people
- Strategic partner, senior marketeer & communications professional, customer obsessed, commercial mindset
- Used to connect with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- Organization skills to meet deadlines and time schedules, able to manage limited resources with optimized outcome
- Proven ability to work in a highly structured way, ensuring full compliance with established policies, procedures and guidelines
- Analytical, digital and data focused
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
