About the role

The Head of MCP North America leads a team of Marketing Communications managers, supporting Energy Systems' growth goals in the region. Key responsibilities include:

  • Develops and sets the MCP strategy, annual initiatives & tactics plan for the Region based on market data and customer analytics.
  • Promotes cross-selling by including the needs of Global Business Units, ventures, and segments.
  • Advises the Regional Director on marketing, internal, external communications, and public affairs.
  • Learns and deploys a regional marketing and communications strategy including services from different Business Units, growth segments and ventures.
  • Ensures internal communications is well deployed within the region.
  • Stimulates collaboration within the regional MCP teams as well as across regions and functions.

Requirements

  • Relevant education, Bachelor's level or higher.
  • Extensive experience (minimum 10 years) and expertise in marketing and communications.
  • Preferably experience in managing people.
  • Strategic partner, senior marketeer & communications professional, customer obsessed, commercial mindset.
  • Used to connect with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Organization skills to meet deadlines and time schedules, able to manage limited resources with optimized outcome.
  • Proven ability to work in a highly structured way, ensuring full compliance with established policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Analytical, digital and data focused.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Very experienced and familiar with the culture and differences within the region.
  • Personal qualities: Act as senior advisor and has a commercial growth mindset; Communicates effectively, is pragmatic, builds strong relationships and is able to influence; Holds strong coaching- and leadership skills and has ability to engage, develop, empower, and motivate the MCP team; Creates trust through reliable delivery and strong and stable relationships with internal and external customers; Promotes a diverse and inclusive culture, respects and understands cultural diversity and is able to communicate and connect with people at different levels; Politically aware, sensitive, and adaptable; Moves easily and successfully in an international complex organization; Strong communication, influencing and senior advisory skills; Inspiring people manager; Cultivates a broad and diverse network; Eager on growth and renewal; Uses the latest trends, insights and developments in marketing, communications, public affairs.
