Head of Marketing, B2B Payments

Rebill.com · Miami, FL · 3 wk ago
HybridFull-time

About the role

Rebill is the financial infrastructure platform for the Americas, enabling companies to operate across Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, Chile, and the United States with local payments, installments, recurring billing, stablecoin rails, treasury, global payouts, and financial operations. The role exists because the product is ahead of the brand; marketing is currently run by founders and needs a dedicated owner to build credibility and scale.

Responsibilities

  • Brand and positioning: define a single story about Rebill and ensure consistency across site, deck, product, sales calls; move perception from startup to credible regulated buyer while retaining cultural appeal.
  • Product marketing: translate engineering releases into clear value propositions for CFOs and VPs of Finance, create launch processes, sales enablement, and thought‑leadership airtime.
  • Content and distribution: build publishing engine for site, blog, LinkedIn, press; produce English‑first content localized per market; optimize for AI assistant citations.
  • Events and founder positioning: own event calendar and outcomes (from Money20/20 and Febraban to small founder dinners); manage booth, content, lead capture, CRM follow‑up; ensure events pay for themselves and position founders on appropriate stages.
  • Demand generation: run paid campaigns, SEO, funnel instrumentation, and close the loop with sales; inherit and scale the founders’ Google Ads and SEO efforts.
  • Ecosystem: engage accelerators, communities, partner co‑marketing, and leverage the Y Combinator network.

Requirements

  • Experience working inside a technology company (or recent) where learning was funded by employer.
  • Background in payments or fintech in Latin America, or a technical B2B field with sophisticated buyers and long sales cycles.
  • Proven experience selling to enterprises (not consumers) and understanding long enterprise sales cycles and proof points.
  • Track record of running marketing across multiple countries from a single seat, managing diverse payment cultures, press, and buyer types with a small team.
  • Background spanning more than one discipline (e.g., classical brand work, paid media, product‑proximity).
  • Hands‑on ability to write copy, brief designers, build decks, and pull numbers independently.
  • Strong English writing and presentation skills; ability to present in Spanish; Portuguese a plus.
  • Experience taking a company from startup appearance to credible regulated buyer and knowing what drove that shift.
  • Press and analyst relations experience in payments/fintech.
  • Ownership of a booth or program at a major event (Money20/20, Febraban or similar).
  • Experience managing a designer or agency and maintaining visual consistency across markets.
  • Real network in the Latin American fintech ecosystem (accelerators, communities, funds, operators).
