About the role

TierZero AI is revolutionizing how engineering teams manage code in production. Our mission is to accelerate incident response, provide full operational visibility, and distribute knowledge across all engineers. We've secured funding from top investors like Accel and SV Angel and are trusted by companies such as Discord, Drata, and Framer.

Responsibilities

  • Own messaging and launch strategy for expanding TierZero’s suite of production agents beyond our initial incident response tool.
  • Build deep buyer understanding among VP Engineering, VP Infrastructure, and engineering-focused CTOs, focusing on their needs, buying processes, and effective communication strategies.
  • Create competitive intelligence, battlecards, and sales enablement materials to streamline deal cycles.
  • Bring TierZero’s brand to life across the website, sales collateral, events, and social media, ensuring consistency and reinforcing the company's unique value proposition.
  • Design and run community-led demand generation programs tailored for a developer audience, including content creation, community distribution, and campaigns aligned with pipeline goals.
  • Lead the content strategy, including thought leadership pieces, case studies, technical storytelling, and category-building content.
  • Build production-ready agents and automation to deliver personalized messaging to target audiences at optimal times.
  • Work closely with the founding team to shape TierZero’s position in the market as the category evolves, translating competitive landscapes into positioning adjustments and market opportunities.

Qualifications

  • 5-6 years of marketing experience, with at least a few years in product marketing and brand roles at developer tools, DevOps, or infrastructure companies.
  • Proven experience in building genuinely useful AI agents and workflow automation across various marketing use cases.
  • Energetic and passionate about a generalist, build-from-scratch environment; capable of working effectively without a large team.
  • Genuinely enthusiastic about the developer tools space and able to communicate effectively with potential clients who may not be engineers themselves.
  • Strong taste in brand and creative design, with a keen eye for what makes a brand stand out and a track record of executing on those visions.
  • Adept at communicating complex ideas clearly and strategically, whether crafting headlines or developing competitive positioning frameworks.
  • Familiarity with the challenges and opportunities within the market, and the ability to adapt strategies based on competitive analysis and market trends.
