About the role
The Head of Marketing serves as a strategic and operational leader responsible for driving marketing effectiveness, growth, organizational alignment, and execution excellence across the Chain Link Service business. This role combines comprehensive marketing leadership with Chief of Staff responsibilities, ensuring that strategic initiatives are translated into measurable outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute global brand strategies that strengthen market position, increase awareness, and support commercial growth objectives.
- Lead brand architecture, messaging, value proposition development, and market positioning initiatives.
- Ensure consistent brand standards and execution across all customer-facing channels and geographies.
- Drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and reputation-building initiatives.
- Lead digital marketing strategy including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, content marketing, marketing automation, and analytics.
- Monitor performance metrics and leverage data-driven insights to improve marketing effectiveness and ROI.
- Oversee marketing technology platforms and digital marketing capabilities.
- Lead website strategy, governance, content management, and user experience for defined business unit.
- Lead ongoing website optimization to improve customer engagement, lead generation, and conversion performance.
- Develop integrated marketing campaigns supporting business unit priorities and growth objectives.
- Lead product launches, promotional activities, customer engagement programs, and market activation initiatives.
- Ensure consistent execution across regions and channels.
- Lead development and management of customer-facing sales and marketing materials.
- Create tools, presentations, collateral, case studies, competitive intelligence, and digital assets that enable commercial success.
- Develop trade show and event strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Manage event planning, budgeting, logistics, messaging, branding, and post-event measurement.
- Lead planning and execution of customer conferences, advisory boards, executive briefings, and customer experience programs.
- Create impactful customer interactions that strengthen relationships and contribute to business growth.
- Lead marketing project management processes and governance.
- Oversee prioritization, resource allocation, timelines, and execution of strategic marketing initiatives.
- Implement best practices, workflows, and performance measurement systems.
- Manage marketing budgets, resource planning, and investment allocation.
- Establish KPIs and dashboards to measure marketing effectiveness.
- Report performance against targets and recommend optimization actions.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and operational partner to the VP/General Manager of Chain Link Services.
- Support development and execution of marketing strategy and annual operating plans.
- Drive strategic initiatives and special projects across the Franke Foodservice marketing organization.
- Coordinate business reviews, leadership meetings, and strategic planning sessions.
- Facilitate alignment across the Global Marketing Leadership Team.
- Track strategic priorities, action items, and organizational objectives.
- Prepare executive presentations, communications, dashboards, and reporting materials.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination across functions and regions.
- Lead cross-functional projects involving sales, commercialization, product management, operations, and executive leadership.
- Support change management and transformation initiatives.
- Develop executive-level communications, presentations, and leadership updates.
- Support preparation for board meetings, executive reviews, customer engagements, and strategic discussions.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field required. MBA or advanced degree preferred. 10+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience. Proven success leading brand strategy, digital marketing, events, and commercial marketing programs. Experience managing websites, e-commerce platforms, and digital customer experiences. Demonstrated success leading complex cross-functional projects and organizational initiatives. Experience working with Product Management and Customer Marketing teams. Chief of Staff, business operations, or strategic planning experience strongly preferred. Experience working in global and matrixed organizations.
