Core Responsibilities
- Combine inbound and outbound pipeline generation including digital, field, and partner marketing.
- Build and own digital marketing programs from the ground up (SEO/GEO, paid, email nurture, content-led acquisition, ABM campaigns).
- Run the business by the numbers using core SaaS KPIs, dashboards, and forecasting.
- Align with Sales through reverse pipeline math for accurate targets and forecasts.
- Develop Account Based strategy targeting ICP companies to create early buyer awareness before RFPs.
- Own field marketing strategy: regional roundtables, executive engagement events, prospect-facing activations.
- Develop and manage partner co-marketing programs with key channel partners.
- Own strategy and executive oversight for full annual event calendar (trade shows, conferences, etc.).
- Lead strategic planning for SpryPoint’s annual client conference ($1M investment).
- Establish pre-, during-, and post-event marketing programs to convert attendance into pipeline.
Product Marketing & Positioning
- Own SpryPoint’s market positioning as the only native SaaS solution in the utility CIS market.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive messaging architecture aligned to ICP tiers and buyer personas.
- Lead competitive intelligence: track alternatives, equip Sales with battlecards, objection responses.
- Build buyer enablement assets for the full journey (thought leadership, persona-specific content, proof assets).
- Partner with Product and leadership on new product launches.
- Define narrative for the utility Supercycle.
- Align content to a consistent brand voice and message framework.
- Oversee brand standards.
- Leverage AI to create systems for market, competitor, and social media signals.
Content Strategy & Brand
- Utilize AI and network of agencies to support GTM-aligned content calendar.
- Build content engine serving every stage of buyer journey.
- Ensure content aligns to GTM strategy, ICP priorities, and campaign calendar.
- Own web presence as demand generation asset (SEO, conversion optimization).
GTM Engineering & Team Leadership
- Partner with VP of Revenue Operations on lead scoring, ABM targeting, outbound prospecting operationalization.
- Build reporting cadence, dashboards, KPIs for board-level marketing performance visibility.
- Modernize tech stack with AI-powered tools.
- Assess contractor stack and present structured org recommendation within 60 days.
- Advise on timing for dedicated PMM/Brand hire and Demand Generation Manager.
- Manage full marketing budget with transparency to spend-to-pipeline ratios.
- Work closely with Sales, RevOps, Product, and external partners.
Qualifications And Competencies
- Primarily a revenue marketer with strong demand generation, pipeline creation, field/partner alignment; plus complementary strengths in product marketing, brand positioning, competitive messaging, buyer narrative.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; MBA/advanced degree a plus.
- 8+ years B2B SaaS marketing experience, with at least 3 years in director or senior director-level role with pipeline accountability.
- Demonstrated track record as revenue marketing leader building inbound pipeline programs from scratch.
- Strong working command of product marketing fundamentals (messaging architecture, competitive positioning, buyer persona development, sales enablement).
- Pipeline-accountable mindset: comfortable owning MQL/SQL targets, presenting marketing attribution data, measured against revenue contribution.
- Proven experience in lean team environment as senior marketing leader, directing contractors and building FTE teams incrementally.
- Strong people management track record, ability to assess performance rapidly and act decisively.
- Expert fluency in HubSpot, Salesforce, and marketing analytics tools; ZoomInfo or equivalent intent data platforms a plus.
