About the role

As a Teller at Capital you are the face of the credit union. It's more than just processing financial transactions. It's building lasting relationships with members by providing exceptional service, identifying their financial needs, and offering solutions that enhance their financial well-being.

Responsibilities

• Process a variety of member transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and cash advances.
• Build and maintain strong member relationships by providing friendly, professional, and knowledgeable service.
• Identify member needs and refer them to appropriate credit union products and services, such as loans, accounts, or investment options.
• Maintain a balanced cash drawer and adhere to security and operational procedures.
• Cross-sell credit union products and services to meet sales goals and enhance member satisfaction.
• Resolve member inquiries and concerns promptly and escalate complex issues to management when necessary.
• Stay informed about credit union policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.
• Participate in branch activities, promotions, and community events to represent the credit union positively.
