Head of Human Resources Culture and Capability
About the role
The Head of Human Resources Culture and Capability provides District-wide leadership and senior management to the staff of the Human Resources Business Partnering team, the Employee and Industrial Relations team, and the Culture and Capability team, to ensure the delivery of an effective strategic and integrated Human Resources, employee and industrial relations, culture, engagement, and capability service to managers and staff of South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD).
The position holder co-ordinates and manages the development, implementation and review of human resources strategies, plans and procedures to minimise risk exposure, improve organisational performance and ensure compliance with statutory, industrial and Award requirements and Government policy.
The position holder is a member of the People and Culture senior leadership team and acts as the principal specialist in Human Resources Culture and Capability for the Local Health District, providing expert advice to the General Managers, Directors and other members of the District Executive Team. The position holder may deputizes for the Director People and Culture as required.
Where you'll be working
SESLHD is one of the largest local health districts in Sydney, covering a geographical area of 468 square kilometres from Sydney's central business district, the beaches from Bondi to Cronulla and down to the Royal National Park. We deliver health care to around 930,000 residents across the local government areas of Woollahra, Waverley, Randwick, Bayside, Georges River and the Sutherland Shire. We also provide a key role in helping residents of Lord Howe Island. Our staff also deliver high quality health care across a variety of community-based services ranging from pre-birth to palliative care.

Remuneration: $180,279 - $201,662 per annum plus superannuation
