Head of Freight

About the role

We’re looking for someone to build out our freight forwarding businesses. This is a hands‑on, high‑touch role where you’ll set up trade lanes, build partner relationships from the ground up, and help us grow our freight forwarding business. You’ll partner directly with our founders and engineers to drive the products we build.

Responsibilities

• Continuously set up and optimize trade lanes.
• Develop long‑term relationships with freight partners, including ocean carriers, warehouses, international agents, etc.
• Manage the buy‑side of the freight business.
• Partner with our CTO to turn prototypes into durable production software.
• Report directly to the CEO.
• Wear many hats – early‑stage means everyone does a bit of everything.

Qualifications

• Experience with carrier negotiations.
• Asia‑US lane experience.
• Fluency in another language.
• Licensed customs broker (LCB) certification.

Pay

Competitive salary: we offer three cash/equity balance options; no negotiation needed.
