Head of Finance & Accounting Location: Grand Prairie, TX | On-Site/Hybrid About The Opportunity A growing, entrepreneurial hospitality and leisure company is seeking a hands-on and strategic Head of Finance & Accounting to lead its corporate finance function during an exciting period of expansion. The company operates a multi-location portfolio and is entering its next phase of growth through new development, strategic partnerships, and expansion of its footprint. This person will serve as a trusted business partner to the CEO and operating leadership, while building the infrastructure, processes, team, and financial discipline needed to support continued growth. The Opportunity The Head of Finance & Accounting will have broad responsibility for the company’s corporate finance organization, including: Lead corporate accounting, financial reporting and controllershipOwn FP&A, annual budgeting, forecasting and long-range planningDevelop financial models to support growth initiatives, capital projects and new locationsOversee treasury, cash management, banking relationships and liquidityManage lender relationships, debt obligations, covenant compliance and financial reportingOversee tax strategy and compliance across multiple jurisdictionsEstablish and strengthen financial controls, policies and governanceLead financial due diligence and analysis related to new opportunities, partnerships and expansionEvaluate the financial implications of contracts, operating agreements and strategic partnershipsOversee financial systems, technology, reporting tools and process improvement initiativesDevelop consistent financial reporting and processes across a multi-property/multi-location environmentBuild, lead and develop a high-performing finance and accounting organizationPartner closely with operations to improve financial performance, accountability and decision-makingServe as a key financial advisor to the CEO and executive leadership team Key Leadership Attributes The successful candidate will be: Strategic but hands-on — comfortable setting the vision while diving into the details when neededA builder who enjoys creating structure, processes and infrastructure in a growing organizationA strong business partner, able to translate financial information into actionable recommendationsExperienced leading finance across a multi-location or multi-property environmentComfortable operating in an entrepreneurial, fast-moving organizationA strong communicator with the executive presence to work effectively with ownership, senior leadership, lenders and operating teamsCommercially minded, with an understanding that finance exists to support and drive the businessHighly analytical with strong financial modeling, forecasting and decision-support capabilitiesA collaborative leader who can build, mentor and develop a finance teamComfortable balancing growth, operational needs, financial discipline and risk managementHigh-integrity, accountable and capable of exercising sound judgment with sensitive financial informationSomeone who enjoys building the plane while flying it rather than simply maintaining an established infrastructure Ideal Background 12+ years of progressive finance and accounting leadership experienceSignificant experience in hospitality, resorts, hotels, leisure, entertainment or another multi-location operating environmentExperience leading finance across multiple properties, locations or business unitsPrevious experience as a CFO, VP Finance, Head of Finance, Division Finance Leader or similar senior-level roleStrong background across accounting, FP&A, treasury and financial strategyExperience supporting growth, expansion, acquisitions, new locations or strategic partnershipsExperience with lender relationships, banking and liquidity managementDemonstrated success building and developing finance teamsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field requiredMBA, CPA or other advanced credential preferred Why This Opportunity?
